The Contemplative Retreat is a time for those who are ready to get away and connect to God through a variety of contemplative prayer practices. No Contemplative Retreat will be exactly the same. Nor will any two people walk away with the same experience, even though they’ve attended the same retreat.
The Contemplative Retreat is designed to help you prayerfully pay attention to your current circumstances and experiences and to discover how God is meeting you in the reality of your present situation. The prayer practices are designed to tune you in to your emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. In this retreat you can expect to begin discovering God’s invitations to you, especially as it relates to what you are being invited to begin, let go, accept or change.
But mostly, the Contemplative Retreat is designed to help you find your center and balance again by taking a ‘time-out’ to simply be present to God, yourself, and at times, your fellow retreatants.
